Stories are everywhere and I discovered this as I explored my local area. Everywhere I looked and everytime I researched, another story would pop out. Stories of environmental destruction, convicts that came good, stories of family lost at war, the growth of Sydney Town and discoveries that proved people have lived here for over 10,000 years. And that is just in an area of a few square kilometres!

Most of those stories are hardly known nor told and I felt some joy in unearthing them. It made me want to look further than my "place" and to delve into the rest of this city which led to this site "Harbour City Stories".
